As part of our mission to build a trusted, inclusive, and globally competitive AI workforce, IAAI Institute offers a limited number of sponsored exam credits to eligible candidates each month. This initiative supports individuals who demonstrate professional intent, technical curiosity, and readiness to contribute to AI-integrated environments.
IAAI also provides company partners and hiring affiliates the option to select and nominate candidates for exam sponsorship. These selections may be based on hiring pipelines, internal workforce development goals, or other strategic initiatives.
Partner companies may pre-purchase exam credits and assign them at their discretion to selected candidates. Each recipient is issued a unique scholarship code, which is used at the time of exam registration to apply for the prepaid credit. These credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and controlled by the issuing partner.
Selected candidates will receive a USD $125 exam credit, reducing the Level 1 Certification fee from $247 to $122. This credit may be applied only once and cannot be transferred, deferred, or exchanged for other programs.
IAAI exam credit sponsorship is ideal for:
Early-career professionals seeking entry into AI operations, automation, or system integration
Candidates transitioning into AI-adjacent roles from sales, technical support, project management, or consulting
Individuals responding to employer requests for IAAI certification verification
Motivated applicants who are prepared to complete the certification process within the current month
There is no formal essay or lengthy application process. Candidates are considered based on the following criteria:
Completion of a job application, interest form, or profile submission through one of IAAI’s employment partners (e.g., Handshake, LinkedIn, or Indeed)
Recommendation or nomination by an IAAI-affiliated employer or hiring partner (if applicable)
Responsiveness to a qualification email or outreach
Willingness to take the Level 1 Certification Exam within 3–7 days of receiving credit
Agreement to all IAAI exam policies and conditions
Sponsored credits are issued on a rolling basis each quarter
Quantities are limited and vary by hiring cycle and institutional partner demand
Recipients will be notified via email and must register within 24 hours to apply the credit
Sponsored exam credit applies only to the Level 1 Certification Exam
It cannot be used retroactively or transferred to another individual or exam level
In the event of candidate no-show or inactivity, the credit is forfeited
Standard exam retake fees apply for unsuccessful attempts
