IAAI Institute™ is committed to preserving the credibility, professionalism, and ethical standards of its certification programs. All candidates, certified professionals, and affiliated participants are expected to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, responsibility, and professional behavior—before, during, and after certification.
Certification is a privilege, not a right. IAAI reserves the authority to revoke, suspend, or deny certification to individuals who violate the following code.
Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct
Read the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct effective 1 August 2025.
All IAAI certification candidates are required to:
Complete exams without unauthorized assistance, collaboration, or access to prohibited materials.
Maintain the confidentiality of exam content and not disclose, share, or reproduce test items in any form.

Comply with exam rules, proctoring procedures, and honor policies, including those enforced by third-party testing vendors.
Report any known misconduct or suspicious behavior related to certification or exam administration.
Violations of these standards may result in immediate invalidation of exam results, permanent revocation of certification eligibility, or other disciplinary action at the sole discretion of IAAI Institute.
IAAI-certified individuals must commit to:
Upholding the integrity of the certification, and not misrepresenting the scope, validity, or meaning of the credential.
Using the IAAI name, badge, and associated marks in accordance with usage guidelines, without implying endorsement, partnership, or affiliation beyond what is granted.
